Last week I shared the three Head-Traps in my blog, The Journey Between Your Head and Heart… This week I am sharing how you can find the solutions that will work best for you to ‘get out of the head traps’!
Which head-trap did you recognize that comes up for you most often?
Was it comparison? confusion? chatter? or something else?
What I know is… you are extraordinary unique complex and awesome!
AND we all have times we get caught up in our heads.
Since one size does not fit all… I’m sharing these self-adjusting strategies with you so have a more peaceful head and heart while productively and passionately living your purpose.
Keys to Finding the Solutions That Work Best for You
When comparison, confusion or that excessive inner chatterbox rocks your sense of inner peace and confidence consider these strategies.
#1. Ask yourself different questions to the age old question… “Who am I?”.
- Can I honor someone else’s path when it’s different than mine?
- Can I stay true to my path when theirs’ has an alternate route?
- Whose truth am I grounded in?
- What story about myself can I let go?
- What truth about myself am I willing to accept now?
- In my quietest moments who am I listening to?
#2 Take time to explore your answers.
Talk them out or write them down. Give yourself the attention you deserve to get to know yourself on a deeper level. Remember, knowing who you truly are is one of the most self-empowering gifts you can have and share.
#3 Learn new tips and tools to support your life shifts.

#4 Experiment with these activation’s and affirmations while noticing it’s corresponding anatomical energy flow:
Begin by centering yourself in your breath. Allow a few gentle cleansing and rhythmic inhales and exhales to soften you. Then mindfully pick up these energy shifting words and witness what happens within you.
- “I know who I am – I am grounded” – notice the base of your spine
- “I honor who I am – I am accepted” – notice the center of your chest
- “I trust who I am – I am connected” – notice the center of your brain
#5 Find authentic support that works best for you and helps you soothe through your shifts.
Unless you are superhuman or already in spirit form… you are always going to have shift to work through and go through.
Find and connect with people, professionals and mentors who are equipped to help you learn to navigate your own path and different paths together… with more loving kindness, generosity, acceptance, attention, appreciation, understanding, humility and respect.
Serenity is the tranquil balance between head and heart.
